Our Commitment to Privacy
At Qatar 5G Connect, we view data privacy not as a regulatory burden, but as the foundation of our relationship with you. We operate a national telecommunications infrastructure, which carries a profound responsibility. Our policy is simple: we collect only what is strictly necessary to deliver high-speed connectivity, to secure our network, and to provide you with a billable, reliable service.
We do not sell your browsing history. We do not monetize your location data to third-party advertisers. The data we process is strictly operational—used to ensure your device connects to the nearest 5G tower, that your data plan is accurately applied, and that our network remains resilient against threats.
Information We Collect
To activate and maintain your service, we process specific technical identifiers. This includes the IMEI of your 5G router, the SIM card ICCID, and signal telemetry (RSSI/RSRP) used to optimize your connection quality. For billing purposes, we maintain your contact information and payment history. This data is retained only as long as required by Qatari telecommunications law.
"We believe transparency is the default. If we collect it, you should know why, and you should have access to it."
How We Secure Data
Your data flows through encrypted channels from your device to our core network. We utilize industry-standard AES-256 encryption for data at rest and TLS 1.3 for data in transit. Our physical data centers in West Bay, Doha, are secured with biometric access controls and 24/7 monitoring. Access to personal data is restricted to authorized personnel with a strict "least privilege" policy.
